Steep rise in cost of car insurance in Northern Ireland
Drivers in Northern Ireland are facing a steep climb in the cost of car insurance, according to the latest Confused.com car insurance price index powered by Willis Towers Watson.
Over the last 12 months, prices have rocketed by 20% - equivalent to £150 - on average.
This means a driver can now expect to pay £891 for a typical comprehensive car insurance premium, compared to just £741 this time last year.
