Casualities rescued from Slemish

THE LEADER of the North West Mountain Rescue Team (NWMRT) has praised St John Ambulance for their help in the successful recovery of two young casualties from Slemish on St Patrick's Day, March 17..

NWMRT were called out to two separate incidents at around 2pm.

Both casualties were 11 year old children and while one was assisted to the bottom of the mountain, under advice and guidance from the team, the second casualty was hypothermic.
