Life on the canal on exhibition

HISTORY buffs across the Borough can reminisce about the good old days at a historic new ‘Life on the Canal’ exhibition unveiled at Moneypenny’s Lockhouse this summer.

The exhibition will illustrate what life was like on the Canal in years gone by through a wide variety of photographs and memorabilia detailing the people who worked on it, the barges which traveled along the route and the beautiful flora and fauna surrounding it.

Visitors can also indulge in some light refreshments while they enjoy the exhibition or while taking a break from their leisurely stroll or cycle along the wonderful towpath.
