Kimmie Rhodes and her Cowgirl Boudoir

American singer songwriter Kimmie Rhodes makes a welcome return to Northern Ireland this month and her tour will be stopping off at the Bronte Music Club in Rathfriland on Tuesday March 24.

The local show comes hot on the heels of the release of her latest album ‘Cowgirl Boudoir’.

Labelling the sound she hoped to create ‘Cowgirl Boudoir’, Kimmie embarked on a retro-cowgirl-hippie-chick musical experiment with fellow collaborators - quirky cool featured guest artist Johnny Goudie and producer Gabriel Rhodes - writing and singing songs that fuse traditional country sounds with influences from the 60s, 70s and 80s into a seamless blend.
